Mission

The mission of the Human Resources Department is to provide quality administration in Human Resources and Risk Management to the Town of Payson the Town Council, and Town employees through:

  • Facilitating the productivity and effectiveness of the Town of Payson.
  • Development of employees in ways that are satisfying to the individual and beneficial to the Town.
  • Anticipating, providing and administrating Human Resource services consistent with the changing needs of the Town.
  • Promoting safety first in the work place in order to provide the employee a safer environment.

Responsibilities

The Human Resources Department is responsible for the administration of employee and retiree benefits, personnel policies and procedures, recruitment, employee training and development, risk management and administration of safety programs and compliance.
