Mission

The mission of Information Technology is to provide the Town’s employees with the highest quality of service using the resources and technologies available to maximize productivity; and provide communication for the overall purpose of providing the best possible service to the Town’s citizens.

Responsibilities

The Information Services Division is responsible for keeping the Town’s computer technology productive as it pertains to the employees’ and citizens’ particular business needs.

TV Channel 4

Payson's Channel 4 TV is a production of the Information Technology Department. This station is designed is to provide information about the Town of Payson through slides, streaming video of live Town Council meetings, T.O.P. Talk programs, and archived agendas & minutes of Town Council, and Town Board meetings.

All programs that are broadcast over Channel 4 must be Town related and provide useful information to the residents of Payson, or otherwise, in the sole judgment of the Town, be of service to the community. Programs may include meetings, activities, programs, events and services of the Town's departments or other government entities, or local nonprofit organizations that adhere to the regulations outlined herein. The Public Information Officer will evaluate all requests for access to the government channel based upon this administrative regulation.
