Police Access to Homebound (P.A.T.H.)
Do you know of an elderly, homebound or disabled citizen, or someone who simply lives alone? The Payson Police Department Volunteers In Policing will contact these citizens with a friendly call to ask “How are you doing?” The program is called P.A.T.H. (Police Access To Homebound.) Please refer your loved one to this program, whether they are ill, elderly, homebound or someone who would just like to hear a friendly voice in the morning to see how they are doing.
Guardian Angel Program
If you or someone you know lives alone, this device could save their life. The Guardian Angel, provided by the Town of Payson Police and Fire Departments free of charge, is installed through your existing home telephone system. You wear a small pendant around your neck. If you fall, just push the button to activate the unit. It is programmed to call four numbers of people who know you.
