The Engineering Division provides engineering services for the design, construction and maintenance of the Streets, Rights of Way and Town vehicle and equipment fleet. It also reviews and inspects private development.

The Division recommends policies and standards for the design, construction, and maintenance of streets, storm water systems, and flood plain administration. It oversees the Town’s Street Capital Improvement Program, reviews private development plans for conformance to Town standards and to determine the impacts on infrastructure systems, inspects residential and commercial grading, drainage and road construction, and establishes development requirements for approval. This division also issues Grading Permits, Right of Way Permits and Street Cut Information. Street, topographic and aerial maps are also maintained by this Division.
